Letter from the Editors, May 3

What a month April was! And here we are looking at May already — which is Julian’s birthday month. HBD Julian!

This month, we kick things off on Sunday, May 7 with Sarah Gailey’s “Such An Honor” set in a world where awards have a powerfully lasting effect. On May 14, Neon Yang’s ”Friday Night Dragon Adventure” will delight and enthrall you when an augmented reality character decides to make a break for the good life. We’re taking a small spring break from fiction on May 21 in order to share some Exciting News and the stories will return on May 28 with Trent Jamieson’s spectacular “Fierce Happening,” its weathers and monsters, and its callers and the houses they protect.

Looking ahead, we’ll be sharing the TOC for the 2022 Selected Sunday Morning Transport anthology shortly, as well as that Exciting News we mentioned above. We’re so excited and we know you’ll love what’s coming (and all the attendant swag that Fran is cooking up) too.
